Metallic epoxy and flake floors create different visual effects. Compare the look you want in the actual space, then discuss the floor condition and proposed system instead of choosing from a finish name alone.

## Compare the Visual Character

A metallic design discussion centers on color movement, contrast and the way the pattern reads across a room. A flake-floor discussion centers on the selected flake appearance and the overall visual texture it creates. Look at wide views of both rather than comparing a metallic close-up with a distant flake photo.

Decide whether you want the floor to be a main design feature or a more consistent backdrop to the room. Neither preference identifies the appropriate system by itself, but it gives the appearance conversation a clear starting point.
